MANILA, Philippines - Josh Jorge, Sean Granada and Harmie Constantino sustained their winning streaks in the ICTSI-JGFP Summer Circuit by ruling their respective divisions in runaway fashion in the recent US Kids World Championships Philippine Qualifier at the Orchard Golf and Country Club.
Jorge continued his domination of the boys 11 years old class with an eight-stroke win, Granada was just too good for the boys 9-year-old bracket which he topped by 14 strokes and Constantino took a 16-shot win in the the competition among 13-year-old girls. Granada’s younger brother Miko also won the 6-under class by 10.
Andrew Chua (7years) and Miguel Castro (14) escaped with narrow victories to join the winners circle that included Andrew Chua, Alexi Blanco, Zachary Castro, Ma. Theresa dela Paz, Eagle Ace Superal, Sean Jean Ramos, Faustina Duque, Sophia Blanco, Missy Legaspi, Paolo Wong, and Annika Cedo.
The tourney conducted by Golf Depot, the official local distributor of US Kids products, and the Junior Golf Foundation of the Philippines, chose the local qualifiers to the world competition in August in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
