Manila Bay cleanup run slated July 13

MANILA, Philippines - Manila Broadcasting Co. will stage the fourth Manila Bay Clean-Up Run on July 13, featuring races in the 3k, 5k, 10k and 21k divisions for both men and women.

Trophies and cash prizes will be up for grabs for the top three winners in each division. 

Registration is ongoing at the Manila Broadcasting Co., Sotto St., CCP Complex, Pasay City, or at Planet A Sports (Trinoma), Athlete’s Foot (Alabang Town Center), and ROX (Bonifacio Global City) beginning May 24.

To underscore their corporate social responsibility, MBC volunteers have joined their counterparts from other establishments based along Roxas Boulevard for Land Bank’s Manila Bay Clean-Up Program since 2009. The fun run is one of many activities that have helped generate funds to institute systematic long-term solutions to environmental sanitation problems that have beset the country’s coastal resources and tributaries.
