KidzHoops holds leveling at RFM gym

MANILA, Philippines - KidzHoops, the community-based youth basketball tournament, holds its leveling game May 25 at 2 p.m. at the RFM gym along Pioneer St, Mandaluyong City with the tournament proper set June 8 to July 13. The all-Sundays tournament is open to all boys and girls, beginners and experienced players alike from age 8 to 14.

“KidzHoops’ goal is to provide an opportunity for our youth to play the sport they love in a safe and organized environment,” said veteran organizer Eva Celestino. “To make the experience more fun and easy, our website is now equipped with an active online registration.”

The organizers form the teams to level the playing field. Only 40 slots per age group will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition to its regular schedule of three conferences per season, KidzHoops’ sport tourism program is now forming traveling teams of 14U and 12U for a four-day weekend tournament and tour package on July 24, hosted by Northwestern University in Laoag, Ilocos Norte.
