Resorts World holds Asian Poker Tour leg

MANILA, Philippines - Resorts World Manila will stage the local leg of the Asian Poker Tour (APT) 2014 with the world’s best clashing in a thrilling card play and high stakes competition beginning tomorrow in the region’s biggest poker tournament this year.

RWM expects to host over 350 top professional poker players from all over the world, each seeking the coveted APT title in the blue-ribbon week-long tournament with the five-day main event set May 3-7.

The pre-event satellites during the APT Philippines 2014 are also ongoing up to May 3.

Aside from the main event, 14 other side tournaments will be held within the week, including games for High Rollers on May 1-2 and the Ladies of Poker on May 2.

Also on tap are the Head Hunter on May 6 and the Deep Stack Turbo from May 4-6. Players may also compete in the Sxi Handed on May 7, the No limit Hold ‘em on May 3 and 5), the Pot Limit Omaha Hi on May 4 and the Mix Game Poker on May 1.
