Jr, women’s teams kick off 9th Filoil caging
MANILA, Philippines - The Filoil Flying V Hanes Premier Cup gets going today with juniors and women’s matches kicking the country’s premier pre-season tournament at the San Juan Arena.
Last NCAA season’s juniors third placer San Sebastian takes on the UST Tiger Cubs in the opening match at 10:45 a.m. while the FEU-FERN Baby Tamaraws tangle with the Mapua Red Robins at 5:45 p.m.
In women’s play, NAASCU champion Centro Escolar University collides with UST at 12:30 p.m. while Adamson faces Rizal Technological University at 2:15 p.m.
St. Benilde, meawhile, takes on University of the Philippines Lady Maroons at 4 p.m.
Matches in the juniors and women’s divisions will also be held Friday while the much-awaited men’s caging fires off Saturday, also at The Arena.
