Sisters Carmeville and Immaville Gervacio from Ozamiz City also reasserted their mastery of the field in their respective divisions with the former winning the girls’ 14-and-U title and the latter taking the 16- and 18-and-U plums in the tournament backed by Dunlop Sport.
Immaville toppled previous leg winner Lorrain Grace Barola, 6-3, 6-3, in the 16-and-U division and whipped Mary Angelica Balatero, 6-3, 6-4, in the centerpiece category, while Carmeville held off Jan Marie Anghag, 3-6, 6-4, 10-8.
Francis Dominic Lanzado from Tangub beat Jeff Balatero, 6-2, 6-2, to pocket the boys’ 18-and-U title then bested Mark Ivan Malinis, 6-4, 6-4, for the 16-and-U crown.
Duma Hakim Boloto kept the 14-and-U plum with a 6-2, 6-2 romp over Prince Cris Magadan while Richard Bautista also repeated in the 12-and-U category with a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Lander Las Piñas.
