Young aces take spotlight

MANILA, Philippines - The Petron Blaze 100 ROK Cup Karting Super Series gets going today with the young aces taking center stage at the Carmona Racetrack in Cavite.

With last year’s Junior Karter of the Year Raymond Cudala moving up to the senior division, Jacob Ang of Eagle Cement, ART Grand Prix junior driver Gabe Cabrera and Brian Thorp of AUTS Racing brace themselves up for a battle royale in the event sanctioned by the Automobile Association Philippines.

Cabrera is the ROK Junior champion, Ang is one of the country’s fast-rising karters, taking the solo lead in the KF Junior Blaze 100, while Thorp finished third overall in the ROK Junior last year.
