Xterra Phl highlights aired on ABS-CBN

MANILA, Philippines - Highlights of the recent Vaseline Men Xterra Philippines in Liloan, Cebu will be shown on ABS-CBN Sports+Action Channel tomorrow, from 9 p.m.-10 p.m.

South Africa’s Daniel Hugo and Swiss Retana Bucher topped their respective divisions in the premier pro category with the former pouncing on last year’s champion Ben Allen’s misfortunes to capture the men’s crown in the event which featured challenging routes in the bike and run events.

Bucher, on the other hand, nipped Carina Wasle to reclaim the women’s pro diadem she won in 2012 but lost to Lesley Paterson in last year’s staging of the event sponsored by Vaseline and organized by Sunrise Events, Inc.

Filipino elite back-to-back winner Cebu-based Joseph Miller finished third overall and retained the Filipino elite crown.

Joyette Jopson topped the Filipina elite category while another Cebuano Jose Merdino Lim dominated the 30-34 class. The other age-group winners were Mervin Rencel Santiago, Brian Borling, Christopher Eyao, Noel Salvador, Glenn Gonzalez, John Sadler, Hugo  Jones, Angelica Yvonne Limjoco, Ylang-Ylang Jordan, Maria Margarita Hizon and Erica Dueger.
