Trainer says Bradley is ‘unstoppable’

Timothy Bradley

MANILA, Philippines – Timothy Bradley will be ready for whatever Manny Pacquiao brings to the table on April 12.

Bradley’s trainer, Joel Diaz, confidently issued the statement with just a little over two weeks left for his ward’s rematch with Pacquiao at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

In an interview with fighthype.com’s Percy Crawford, Diaz said nothing bothers them so far, saying things have gone smoothly as planned leading to the fight.

And even if Pacquiao brings an army with him on fight day, Bradley won’t care.

"I'm ready. I don't care if Manny Pacquiao brings the whole Philippines with him, we are going to fight. And it's only gonna be Timothy Bradley and Manny Pacquiao in there; just them two. I'm ready to guide my fighter and motivate my fighter. Whatever it takes to get that victory,” Diaz explained.

Bradley, the WBO welterweight title, will try to erase the stigma brought by his controversial win over Pacquiao two years ago. The undefeated American is out to prove that his victory over the Filipino is no fluke.

“We are gonna go April 12th and fight, and we are gonna fight like it's our last fight because it's a fight that really left a big dark cloud in our life,” Diaz added.

Pacquiao, for his part, is looking to get back at Bradley and go for a knockout if the opportunity presents itself.

Diaz remains undeterred though, insisting that it would take a great deal of effort to knock Bradley out.

“Tim Bradley is unstoppable. He may not be the greatest fighter as far as what some consider to be the package of a fighter, but he has the determination, heart, and a lot of balls," he ended.
