Works Bell brakes support Anton’s title bid

MANILA, Philippines - Castrol-Yokohama champion driver Carlos Anton was recently tapped by Works Bell Japan after he broke the lap record at Batangas Racing Circuit using their brake pads.

“They (Works Bell) asked me to try out their pads in the last race and to my surprise they worked wonders with the Mark Young CRX. They allowed me to do hard lap after hard lap without any fade and stayed very consistent during my runs,” Anton said after re-setting his lap record using the brake pads.

Works Bell Japan official distributor Raffy David decided to sign up Anton as a Brand Ambassador for the high performance brake pads.

“Carlos is the current Philippine Touring Car Champion and lap record holder in both race tracks in the Philippines and he was really impressed with our product. We feel our support for him can bring the product to new heights in the country,” David said.

Works Bell Japan will be backing Anton in his bid to re-set his records at the race tracks this year with the Mark Young CRX and Nissan GTR. Anton will also try to defend his Philippine Touring Car Championship come June with the Ethanworx Racing Honda FD using the high performance pads from Works Bell.

Anton is also sponsored by Cars Unlimited, Hornitex, Mohspeed, Fixstop, Force Speed, Autoshack, View Park Hotel, Ethanworx, Special Stage and Buddyclub.
