MANILA, Philippines – Legendary Mexican boxers Julio Cesar Chavez and Marco Antonio Barrera dropped by Manny Pacquiao’s training at the Wild Card Gym in Hollywood on Tuesday.
Chavez and Barrera made sure to chronicle their visit by posing for a photo with Pacquiao and trainer Freddie Roach.
Chavez, 51, is considered to be the greatest Mexican boxer ever, compiling a massive record of 107-6-2, with 86 knockouts. He is a six-time world champion in three divisions, the first Mexican fighter to achieve such a feat.
Barrera, meanwhile, was a former rival of Pacquiao, fighting the Filipino twice. He got knocked out by Pacquiao in their first match in 2003 and was outpointed in their rematch four years later.
Pacquiao faces Timothy Bradley for the WBO welterweight championship on April 12 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
