CCP’s Earth Day Run slated April 13

MANILA, Philippines - The Cultural Center of the Philippines will mark the 2014 Earth Day Run with 3k and 5k events on April 13 with another huge field expected to participate.

Supported by Mizuno, the run will be an open race to be held inside the CCP complex with organizers also lining up a series of activities, including dance classes, exhibition and workshop to be conducted by Haribon Phils., the Bureau of Plant Industry, Bio-Char, Foundation for the Philippine Environment, Kasibulan and the Kite Association of the Phils. Wan Lu and Sipat Lawin will also provide special numbers.

Registration for the fun run starts today at Mizuno Stores at Trinoma Mall, SM Megamall, Bonifacio High Street in Global City and the SM Mall of Asia. On-line listup can also be made on race.com.ph/earthdayrun.

Fee is pegged at P400 for both the 3k and 5k, inclusive of singlet, with slots available to the first 1,000 entries. Listup ends on April 9. For details, call 697-7162.
