MANILA, Philippines - Those desiring to join the silver run of the country’s pioneer and premier 10-Mile race have only up to Wednesday to register for the remaining slots.
Mizuno registration outlets for the Yakult 10-Miler are at Trinoma Mall, SM Megamall, Bonifacio High Street and the Mall of Asia.
As of March 14, the event, supported by Mizuno, has already attracted 2,315 entries. The 16K event has the most number of entries.
According to Michael Ong, Yakult Phils. manager for sales and planning, a P7,000 cash prize awaits the overall champion and the top female finisher of the 16K centerpiece event.
The second placers will get P3,000, third P2,000, fourth P1,000 and fifth P500.
In addition, trophies will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers of the 16K race. Medals will be awarded to the fourth and fifth placers.
The top three finishers in the 5K and the 3K age group will also receive medals. A bag of Yakult unique health drink with lacto bacilli shirota strain will also be awarded to all awardees.
All finishers of the 16K, 5K, and 3K runs will get finishers t-shirts and Yakult health drink.
Ong will award the prizes.
Mizuno, in support of the event, is giving away running shoes for the 16K champion male and female, with the second and third placers receiving Mizuno singlets. The first placers of the 5K and 3K races male and female will also receive Mizuno singlets.
Mizuno items will also be raffled off on race day. Mizuno also gave exclusive discount privileges up to 30 percent to those who registered for the 25th Yakult silver anniversary run. Special perks also await Mizuno users during the run.
