DPS conducts swimming, cage, t’kwondo clinics

MANILA, Philippines - The Dilimian Preparatory, an exclusive school with a strong sports program headed by former Sen. Nikki Coseteng, is holding basketball, taekwondo and swimming camps this summer.

 Starting April 8, the DPS Basketball Academy is set to once again train future basketball stars during its annual summer program.

Regular rate is P4,000 for 10 sessions. The basketball training camp is scheduled every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, with coach Rensy Bajar as sports program coordinator.

In taekwondo, a beginners training camp under coach Nap Dagdagan Jr. is offered at P3,500 for 10 sessions while an advanced class is also offered at P3,250 for 20 sessions.

The first batch of taekwondo trainees will begin training on April 4, a second batch to start April 21, and the last batch on May 2.

Sessions are scheduled every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 9 a.m. to 12 noon.

Under the swimming training program, coach Rochelle Dimalanta will conduct one-on-one- sessions on life-saving skills. Fee for individual sessions is P5,000 and P3,500 for a group for 10 sessions (one hour per session).

 Lessons will be every weekday, Monday to Friday, 8-11 a.m. and 1-4 p.m. A participant may choose his schedule..
