MANILA, Philippines - Defending champion Judiciary guns for its third straight victory even as Senate hopes to bounce back from a loss in their last outing in today’s UNTV Cup Season 2 at the Meralco Gym.
The Magis won their first two games in splendid fashion and are expected to dominate DOJ in their game which will start after the opening match at 3 p.m. between the Defenders and Malacañang.
Former PBA MVP Kenneth Duremdes and Zaldy Realubit will once again carry the load for Senate but the two will have to get more support from their teammates for them to get back on the winning track.
“We will make big adjustment as a team if we want to continue winning,†said Defenders coach Lino Ong who bowed to PhilHealth Advocates in their last outing to even their record at 1-1.
Judiciary, which defeated Philippine National Police in the inaugural season in the first-ever public service basketball tournament in the country, will lean on the steady plays of Don Camaso, Ariel Capus and John Hall to keep the Avengers winless after two games.
The two matches will be aired live over UNTV 37 and through the free live webstreaming at UNTVweb.com.
