Mendoza, Suzuki top ABC monthly
MANILA, Philippines - Joan Mendoza of Boysen Paints lorded it over the Group I field while Shin Suzuki of PNS Advanced Technology dominated Group 2 as they led the winners in the Architects Bowling Club’s monthly championship at E-Lanes Center, Ortigas Ave., Greenhills, San Juan City last week.
Mendoza rolled a six-game series of 1136 to beat Rod Salamat of Goldbridge Neighborhood Dental (1076) and Nepthy del Rosario of Boysen Paints (1073) for the Group I crown in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.
Suzuki, on the other hand, assembled a 1090 to capture the Group 2 plum over Ricky Martinez of Philflex Wires and Cables (1053) and Malou del Rosario of Boysen Acrytex (978).
The tournament, backed by Romari Construction, E.S. Vidal Builders, Steeltech, Moldex Pipes, Crown Pipes, Miraga Trading, Concrete Ventures, Glass Asia, Boysen Knoxout/Wallguard/Healthy Homes, Emerald Pipes and Duraflex THHN/THW/TW Wires, resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of the all-events three-man team, also at E Lanes.
