Lim, pal dominate Mizuno Scramble
MANILA, Philippines - The Nelson Lim-Paul Salvador and Carlo Quimson-Joaquin Tolentino pairs dominated their respective sides to rule the kickoff legs of the Mizuno Scramble Tournament at the Orchard Golf and Country Club and Valley Golf Club courses recently.
Lim and Salvador combined for a 12-under-par 60 to clinch the crown at Orchard’s Player course while Quimson and Tolentino assembled a 10-under-par 62 to reign at the Valley’s South course.
Wilbert Young and Doy Ubaldo (Div. II) and Gino Ng and Nico Co (Div. III) and Jonathan Diokno and Chez Roque (Div. II) and Ramon Chan and Mike Abad (Div. III) were the other winners at Orchard and Valley, respectively.
They all advanced to the grand final of the 22-leg tournament, which stakes a slot to watch the Mizuno Classic in Japan in September 2015.
Major sponsor Volvo-The Perfect Drive (most accurate drive) champs were Carlo Carpio at Valley and Ray Panlilio at Orchard.

Meanwhile, the next four legs of the Mizuno Scramble will be held at Sherwood Hills on March 29, Camp Aguinaldo on March 30, Royal Northwoods on April 12 and Summit Point on April 26.
