Uzbek XI ready for AFC

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Uzbekistan champion Bunyodkor will be armed with its extensive warm-weather training in Dubai and in Turkey as it plays Saudi Arabian counterpart Al Fateh Tuesday to start its AFC Champions League comeback at the Prince Abdullah Bin Jalawi Stadium.

Midfielder Dilshod Juraev believes the two-time semi-finalists have prepared “better than ever” in a determined bid to redeem themselves from a surprise Round of 16 exit at the hands of Thailand’s Buriram United last year.
