St. Scho spikers seal semis duel with KMS

MANILA, Philippines - St. Scholastica’s College-A downed Philippine Women’s University, 25-7, 25-6, to arrange a semifinal showdown with King’s Montessori School in the 17-and-under Competitive Division of the Best Center-organized, Milo-sponsored 18th Women’s Volleyball League at the Xavier School gym over the weekend.

It was SSC’s fifth win in six games while PWU ended a winless campaign after six games.

King’s Montessori, meanwhile, trounced Escuela de Sophia, (4-2), 25-13, 25-18, to complete its sweep of the elims with a 6-0 card.

The other semis pairing pits Hope Christian School (6-0), which scuttled Assumption College (1-5), 25-13, 25-1, and Holy Family School (4-2), which humbled Colegio San Agustin-Makati (4-2), 25-11, 25-19.

Semifinals pairings for the 17-and-Under Developmental Division pit Espiritu Santo Parochial School against St. James Academy and Colegio de Sta. Rosa-Makati against La Consolacion College.

Colegio San Agustin Makati will face Saint Pedro Poveda College while St. Paul College-Makati takes on Escuela de Sophia in the semifinals of the 13-and-Under Developmental Division.
