Yakult 10-miler slated March

MANILA, Philippines - Yakult Phils., Inc. marks the silver run of the country’s pioneer and premier 10-mile race, the Yakult 10 Miler, on March 23 with over 3,000 runners expected to see action at the Cultural Center Complex in Pasay.

Spicing up the event are the 5K and 3K kiddie runs.

Registration starts on Feb. 28 at Mizuno Outlets at Trinoma Mall (tel. 916-6495),  SM Megamall (634-6293),  Bonifacio High Street at Bonifacio Global City (856-1432) and at SM Mall of Asia (915-1946).

Fees are pegged at P500 for the 16K run,  P400 for the 5K and P300 for 3K races, inclusive of a running singlet issued upon registration and with all finishers receiving an additional finishers t-shirt and a bottle of Yakult, the unique health drink with lacto bacilli shirota strain.

Cash prizes plus trophies and Yakult gift packs await the top five finishers of the 16K run. The 5K and 3K top three finishers will also receive medals and Yakult gift packs. Although the 3K run is open to individuals 18 years and above, top finishers awards will only be for kids 6-9 and 10-12 years old.
