LSGH eyes MyBall titles

MANILA, Philippines - Unbeaten La Salle Green Hills seeks a double championship against rival Ateneo in the Growee-MYBall Metro Invitational today at the LSGH Gym.

Dominant throughout the season, the Greenies jumped straight to the finals after sweeping the elimination round of both the Mini division (9-11) and the Contender division (12-14).

Standing in the way of the Greenies’ perfect title bid are the confident Blue Eaglets, who emerged as the last team standing in the stepladder semifinals of both divisions.

The Greenies, who also tote a twice-to-beat advantage as incentive for their 7-0 sweep, battle the No. 2 Blue Eaglets in the Contender finals at 8 a.m.

Also riding on a seven-game winning streak, the Greenies in the Mini group brace for an upset-conscious Blue Eaglets in the other title match at 11 a.m.
