Big start for ‘Hari Ng Rueda’
MANILA, Philippines - Since its opening last week, the “NFGB Hari Ng Rueda 8-Cock Derby†roared to a big start by attracting 149 entries in five venues.
There are 38 more rounds scheduled in different cockpits nationwide.
Competition resumes tomorrow at Bacolor Cockpit in Pampanga.
Other upcoming skeds Feb. 11 (Tarlac Amusement Center and Texas Cockpit Arena ); Feb. 12 (San Fernando, La Union, San Nicolas, Ilocos Sur and Octagon Cockpit Iloilo).
For Metro Manila cockers, eliminations will be held on Feb. 17 (Pasay Cockpit), Feb. 19 (New Mandaluyong Coliseum ) and Feb. 20 (Roligon).
National Federation of Gamefowl Breeders (NFGB) executive director Arnel Anonuevo said the guaranteed prize is more than P5 million.
