4 share top honors in NCA derby

MANILA, Philippines - Eric dela Rosa and Butchoy’s Feb. 19 Elims, Gov. Claude Bautista’s CPB AAO, Gerry Ramos’ UFCC AAO, and Jet Fernando’s Jimafer BG scored five points each to share top honors in the National Cockers Alliance derby at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig recently.

SR Pedro Joshua of Rep. Unabia finished with 4 1/2 point while Sundance of RVP and Phil Sy, JU Meroda of James Uy and Meder Datu, Flying Horse of Rep. Panganiban, LB Candelaria of Ka Luding, Araw ng Davao of Dori Du, Lucky Money RM of Rene Medina, and NI Armen of Arnold Mendoza wound up with identical four points in the event sponsored by Sagupaan Complexor.

Mayor Rudy Albano’s Mulawin ended up with 3 1/2 points.

Meanwhile, former Rizal Gov. Ito Ynares, former Sec. Ronaldo Puno, and Phil Sy will host the next NCA derby on Feb. 11, also at the Ynares Sports Arena while the Feb. 18 event will be hosted by Bong Pineda, Vic Yap, Pipo Soliman, Bebot Uy and Brown.
