MANILA, Philippines - Lady participants will finally see action when the 30th edition of the Mango Tee, the popular member-guest tournament of the Alabang Country Club presented by Smart, Petron and Pancake House, is held Feb. 3-8.
Exclusively for men in its first 29 years, the Mango Tee will be featuring female shareholders as one of several exciting changes it is embracing for its anniversary celebration where tournament and raffle prizes worth at least P8 million are up for grabs.
Latest model cars carrying the Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, Mitsubishi and Chevrolet logos are at stake as hole-in-prizes at the four par-3 holes and will be supplemented by golf carts from Texas Eagle and business motorcycles from APE.
Kicking off the Mango Tee week are the opening ceremonials on Saturday.
Club president Archie Lacson, golf committee chair Jude Aguilar and other members of the ACCI board as well as the Mango Tee committee headed by Martin Lorenzo and Dennis Hernandez will join VIPs and tepresentatives from the various sponsoring groups in the traditional hitting of ceremonial balls.
