MANILA, Philippines - Action in the National Cockers Association’s World Championship Derby resumes today with the holding of the second day of elims with 12 entries going for a follow-up to their back-to-back victories at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

San Juan Col. 2 and SJC Invitational of Bong Pineda, Jimafer BG of Efren Canlas, Phoenix/AA of Mario Villamor, BM Skylark of Boy Martinez and Teng Ranola, Flying Horse of Rep. Panganiban, SF Blue Quartz 2 of Bebot Uy, Jimafer NG 1 of Jun and Rudy Jingco, JJC Gurkha/Pasay City Cockpit of Jesse Carlos and Eric dela Rosa, Lucky Changes RM of Rene Medina and Jun Velasco, AA SL of Mayor Elan, and Tokwing Fantastic of Tokwing lead the pack with two points apiece.

Action is expected to heat up with additional entries from Ferdie Eusebio and Jun Mendoza, Batangas Group, Nestor Gualberto, two entries from Romy Lim and Manny Sazon, Ricky Magtoto, JV Magsaysay, T. Sevilla, Tady Palma, Mayor Goto, Niño Yee, Boy Torres, Ronnie Puno, Gov. Plaza, Tony Marfori, Marco del Rosario, JR Tolentino, Jun Diamante, and Atong Ang.
