Boysen tops ABC team tilt

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Sonny Esguerra, Eugene Ferraris, Bert Magsakay and Hermie Prudente of Boysen Wallguard combined for 2486 to pocket the team events crown in the opening game of the Architects Bowling Club at the E Lanes Center in Greenhills, San Juan last week.

Tony Naval, Joan Lay, Bibs Luzande and Buddy Segui of American Wires and Cables rolled 2484 to place second while Concrete Ventures, composed of Malou del Rosario, Pinoy Cruz, Abe Firmeza and Denis Jalandoon, scored 2413 to finish third in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Meanwhile, Jalandoon, the 2014 ABC president, is inviting all registered architects to join the event held every Tuesday at E Lanes as ABC braces for its 37th founding anniversary with a club overseas trip to Bali, Indonesia in May.

The tournament, backed by Duraflex THN/TW/THHN Wires, Philflex Wires and Cables, Emerald Pipes, Glass Asia, Boysen Acrytex/Knoxout/Healthy Homes, We Konstruct, Crown Pipes, Spurway, Greystone, Moldex Pipes, Dwightsteel and Steeltech, resumes at 7 tonight with the holding of the four-man team event, also at E Lanes.
