Weidman vs Silva in UFC yearend bout

MANILA, Philippines - The Ultimate Fighting Championship closes the year with the highly anticipated rematch between UFC middleweight champion Chris “The All American” Weidman and Anderson “The Spider” Silva on UFC 168 on Dec. 29.

In their first meeting, Weidman took the title with a shocking second-round knockout of former champion Silva, who was undefeated in the UFC at that time.

This Sunday, he defends his UFC middleweight championship against a hungrier, driven, and focused Silva who many consider to be the greatest mixed martial artist of all time. Plus, women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey defends her crown against rival Miesha Tate in another rematch.
