Coke kart series winds up today

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The 2013 Coca-Cola Karting Super Series holds its final leg at the Carmona Racetrack in Cavite today with Eduardo Coseteng Jr. and Tai Zulberti tipped to clash for top honors.

Spicing up the event is the ladies fun race featuring the young karters’ mothers, who finally get their first taste of actual competition in the event sponsored by Coca-Cola Philippines and Yokohama, and sanctioned by the Automobile Association Philippines.

Zulberti leads the Mini-ROK class with 440 points and needs the win to secure the crown over Tuason Racing’s Flynn Jackes and William Casequin, who tote 389 and 333 points, respectively.

Coseteng, son of GT champion Jody, guns for the Formula Cadet Expert crown against Jackes and One Racing’s Jose Luigi Lachica.

Also favored is Larco Cortez in the Formula Cadet Novice against Julia de los Angeles, Bobby Redpath and Jarred Kim.
