Panaguiton, Mare top ABC annual tilt

MANILA, Philippines - Eugene Panaguiton of Dwightsteel dominated Group 1 while Greg Mare of Concrete Ventures topped Group 2 as they led the winners in the Architects Bowling Club’s Annual Championship at the E Lanes, Ortigas Ave., Greenhills, San Juan City last week.

Panaguiton rolled a 12-game series of 2668 to beat four-time annual winner Manny Padit of Philflex Wires and Cables, Buddy Segui of American Wires, Denis Jalandoon of WeKonstruct and Lito Zubiri of Greystone in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Mare, on the other hand, scored 1695 to cop the Group 2 title over Zeny Prudente of Moldex Pipes (1651), Michael Domingo of Duraflex THW Wires, Violy Magsakay of Boysen Virtuoso (1639) and Abe Firmeza of Greystone (1634).

Meanwhile, ABC president Ronnie Javier is inviting all active ABC members and sponsors to attend the ABC Christmas party at 4 p.m. today at the Greenwich Clubhouse of the Corinthian Garden at Luna street corner Joaquin street.           

The weekly event, backed by Boysen Acrytex/Healthy Homes/Knoxout, Duraflex TW/THHN Wires, Philflex Wires and Cables, Emerald Pipes, Crown Pipes, Glass Asia and Steeltech, resumes on Jan. 7, 2014 at 6 p.m.
