MANILA, Philippines - The series of boxing specials in Rod Nazario’s In This Corner resumes tonight with the episode featuring Vergel Puton over PTV-4.

Puton, 24, is the third straight boxer to be presented in the 7-8 p.m. primetime show presented by Ginebra San Miguel, San Miguel Beer, Purefoods, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), and Petron.  Jay Solmiano and Jaymart Toyco were the first two who were earlier featured.

Campaigning as a featherweight, Puton, who hails from Las Piñas, has been undefeated the last two years behind a seven-fight winning streak.
