Mayweather on fighting Pacquiao: ‘Who?’
MANILA, Philippines – Floyd Mayweather Jr. still wants none of Manny Pacquiao that he even started taking a shot at the Filipino’s existence.
Mayweather, who last saw action in the ring last September against Saul Alvarez, has four fights left in his massive six-fight deal with broadcaster Showtime. And he’s not rushing things regarding his next bout.
Asked by David Mayo of the Grand Rapids Press about the identity of his next opponent, Mayweather said things will get in motion soon.
“Next week. I’m looking forward to next week. But as for me, right now, I'm not thinking about boxing," he told Mayo.
