Fernandez, the current head coach of San Beda and N-Lex in the D-League, played for Sta. Lucia, Alaska, Pop Cola and Purefoods in a 12-year PBA career where he made his mark as a playmaker and an outside threat.
Each team will be given 25 balls to shoot. For every shot a player makes, Filoil Flying V will donate P5,000 to the victims of Typhoon Yolanda on top of the proceeds from the game.
La Salle great Lim Eng Beng was supposed to participate in the shootout but was disallowed by doctors to suit up due to health considerations.
