Javier, Firmeza snare ABC circuit plums

MANILA, Philippines - Ronnie Javier of Eurolux Lightings scored an eight-game series of 1691 to bag the Group I crown while Abe Firmeza of Greystone took the Group 2 crown with a 1436 in the Architects Bowling Club’s Circuit Championship at the E Lanes Center in Greenhills, San Juan last week.

Denis Jalandoon of WeKonstruct finished second with 1675, Hermie Prudente of Boysen Wallguard had 1630 for third while Boyet Libiran of American Wires placed fourth with 1613 in Group I of the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Joan Lay of Glass Asia turned in a 1432, Ricky Martinez of Concrete Ventures shot 1404 and Tony Sabater of Spurway made a 1330 to place second, third and fourth, respectively, in Group 2.

Action in the event, backed by Crown Pipes, Boysen Acrytex/Virtuoso/Healthy Homes/Knoxout, Emerald Pipes, Duraflex THHN/THW/TW Wires, Philflex Wires and Cables, Dwightsteel, Moldex Pipes, Steeltech and Nation Paints, resumes at 7 tonight with the holding of the monthly finals, also at E Lanes.
