MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Collegiate Champions League (PCCL) will resume its regional championships this month with the North-Central Luzon regional games set Nov. 11-14 at the University of Northern Philippines gym in Vigan City, according to PCCL executive director Jose Lipa Jr.
Others vying in the North-Central Luzon meet are the collegiate champions of Vigan, Baguio Benguet, Pangasinan, La Union and Zambales.
The South Luzon-Bicol games, meanwhile, will be held on Nov. 14-16 at Casiguran gym in Sorsogon City with teams from Sorsogon, Quezon, Naga, Tabaco, Batangas, Cavite and Laguna seeing action.
Except for Cebu, the mother leagues of Visayas will send representatives to the regional games on Nov. 15-18 at the Ormoc City Superdome. Participating are collegiate champions from Bohol, Iloilo, Bacolod, Tacloban, Dumaguete and Ormoc.
Also set on Nov. 9-11 at Almendras gym in Davao City is the South Mindanao games with teams from General Santos, Davao City, Zamboanga and Dipolog competing.
The North Mindanao games, on the other hand, will end tomorrow with champion teams from Cagayan de Oro, Pagadian, Surigao City, Lanao del Norte, Bukidnon, Marawi and Iligan taking part.
The regional champions will earn slots to the Sweet 16 Finals.
