MANILA, Philippines - The Association of Firearms and Ammunition Dealers (AFAD) will conduct free seminars for top Filipino shooters gearing up for various international competitions during the 21st Defense and Sporting Arms Show (DSAS) Part 2 on Nov. 14-18 at the SMX Convention Center of the Mall of Asia.

The Philippine National Shooting Association (PNSA), the governing body for the sport for Olympic and non-Olympic events, will spearhead the lecture on “Winning the World Cup” for practical shooting enthusiasts on Nov. 14, from 1- 2 p.m..

The AFAD, under the leadership of world shooting champ Jethro Dionisio, supports Pinoy top guns vying in international shooting competitions.

During the opening of the country’s longest-running gun show, AFAD officials will fete members who bagged medals during the World Rimfire and Benchrest Shooting World Cup in Czech Republic and the IPSC-European Handgun Championship in Portugal as well as other Pinoy top shooters who made it to other prestigious international events.

Aside from promoting competitive shooting, AFAD-member gun dealers will give a presentation of gun products and shooting paraphernalia for sport shooting and self-defense.

Participating gun dealers will also offer big discounts on selected firearms and shooting paraphernalia.
