PSL coach to attend seminar in California

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Swimming League, in line with its coaches development program, is sending PSL coach Jay Ungoco to California to attend the coaches’ seminar hosted by the American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA), led by Craig Dillingham.

Ungoco, a high performance coach who trained UAAP standout Claire Adorna for the Universiade,  will attend the seminar which will have as resource person Russian VLD Pyshnenko, Bill Rose and Guy Edson at Marriot Hotel in California.

PSL president Susan Papa, who trained under University of Southern California coach Peter Daland along with great American swimmers John Naber, Bruce Furniss, Rod Strchand and Indonesian swimmer Zoraya Perucha,  said Ungoco will also observe training modules under Papa’s contemporaries abroad.
