Sta. Lucia Tour Manila leg slated at Eagle Ridge

MANILA, Philippines - After a successful Davao leg, premier real estate and golf course developer Sta. Lucia Land (SLI) mounts the Manila leg of the Sta. Lucia Golf Tour (SLGT) 2013 on Nov. 7-9 at Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club.

Now on its 14th year, the SLGT is an annual golfing event that gathers members and guests from Sta. Lucia golf clubs across the country. The tour has gathered a total of 134 participants representing Beverly Place Golf Club, Eagle Ridge and Country Club, Orchard Golf and Country Club, Rancho Palos Verdes Golf and Country Club, Royale Tagaytay Golf and Country Club and Summit Point Golf and Country Club.

The Davao leg winners are (individual) GM Balvuena of Rancho Palos Verdes (Class D), Edwin Manuel of Royale Tagaytay (Class C), Rex Goquinco of Eagle Ridge (Class B) and Dan Emilio Cruz of Eagle Ridge (Class A).

Team winners include Addy Briones, Raymond Lumanlan, Jericho Bajo and Wendell Adlao of Rancho Palos Verdes with 227 (Group 4),  Raymundo del Rosario, Marthy Fernando, Francisco Gutierrez and Roberto Rosales of Eagle Ridge with 244  (Group 3), Alan Alegre, Anthony Arevalo, Glen Vasquez, and Conrad Caraan of Summit Point with 263 (Group 2) and Arnel Romero, Rex Goquingco, Dan Emilio Cruz and Denden de Castro of Eagle Ridge with 296  (Group 1).

In the club of the year competition, the the top 3 are Eagle Ridge, Rancho Palos Verdes and Royale Tagaytay.

The raffle draw also awarded a Class A Summit Point Golf and Country Club share to Horii Mitsushige and a Class A Eagle Ridge Gof and Country Club golf share to Arnaldo Bautista.

The SLGT 2013 Davao leg is presented by Readycon and co-presented by PLDT Home, with major sponsors Empire Golf (Dynamic Sports) – Titleist and Footjoy and Cemex.
