MANILA, Philippines - Toby’s Trinoma and Toby’s Mall of Asia are the registration partners of the 2013 Tempra Run Against Dengue, which is set on Nov. 17, 4 a.m., around the Quezon City Memorial Circle.
Part of net proceeds from the advocacy run, which is also backed by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, Philippine Sports Commission, Green Cross, Medicard, Gemilang4U International, Business Mirror, Health and Fitness Magazine and the National Capital Region Athletic Association, will be used for the purchase of various anti-dengue modalities, including garbage bins, to be distributed in selected day-care centers and barangays in the city.
Four categories comprise the fun run, namely 10k (P450), 4k (P400), 2k (P300) and Family Run (P250 each runner) – the event’s newest division features a parent (or parents) running for a distance of 1k with his or her kids.
Another registration center is at the Liwasang Aurora of the QC Memorial Circle (near the blue stage) every weekend until Nov. 16 and an hour prior to the gun start of the 10k run on race day.
