Panaguiton, Magsakay top ABC Corp Cup
MANILA, Philippines - Eugene Panaguiton of Dwightsteel stamped his class in Group I while Violy Magsakay of Boysen Virtuoso dominated Group 2 as they led the winners in the Architects Bowling Club’s Corporate Cup at the E Lanes Center in Greenhills, San Juan last week.
Panaguiton rolled an eight-game series of 1775 to beat Nepthy del Rosario of Boysen Acrytex (1733), Ronnie Javier of Eurolux (1643) and Hermi Prudente of Boysen Wallguard (1611) in Group I of the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.
Magsakay, on the other hand, assembled a 1416 to cop the Group 2 title over May Sabater of Moldex Pipes (1408), Randy Poon of Duraflex TW Wires (1395) and Malou del Rosario of Philflex Wires and Cables (1352).
Meanwhile, the event, backed by Morning Sun, Concrete Ventures, Crown Pipes, Boysen Healthy Homes/Knoxout, Emerald Pipes, Duraflex THHN/THW Wires, Greystone, Glass Asia, Coach Furnitures, Spurway, DN Steel, WeKonstruct and Steeltech, resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of the Circuit championship, also at E Lanes.
