Pachanga Diliman routs Army in UFL

MANILA, Philippines - Pachanga Diliman continued to dish out fine form as it demolished a hapless Phl Army side, 5-0, for its second straight win in the United Football League Cup at the Emperador Stadium in Taguig City.

Fil-Am Nate Burkey came away with a hattrick right in the first half and the Pachanga Diliman booters went on to put in two more goals to score a follow-up to their equally emphatic 4-0 rout of Laos, 4-0, in the opener four days back.

Ariel Zerrudo added a fourth goal for Pachanga in the first half before Reza Amirkhizan knocked in another on the 49th to cap their domination of the Army men.

New club Manila Jeepney walloped Laos FC, 3-0, for its first victory in the league after dropping an embarrassing 1-6 defeat to the Ceres-La Salle side.

Masood Shedideh rammed in a brace while Sean Iliff, who scored the only goal of its Cup debut, delivered the other goal for Manila Jeepney, which boosted its bid for the round-of-16 stage.
