MANILA, Philippines - UAAP Season 76 Men's basketball tournament Most Valuable Player Terrence Romeo thanked his coaches and the people who helped him bagged the top individual award.
Romeo produced 75.29 SPs to dethrone back-to-back MVP Bobby Ray Parks Jr. who came short with only 73.86 SPs.
The 21-year-old Cavite native followed the footsteps of his teammate RR Garcia (2010) and former King Tamaraw and two-time MVP Arwind Santos (2004-2005) who also received the same award.

Romeo, only the third guard to win the MVP plum following Garcia and PBA legend Johnny Abarrientos, highlighted his MVP run with a back-to-back 30-point games against Adamson University and University of the Philippines in the eliminations.

He posted his collegiate career-high of 33 points in the Tamaraws' triumph against the Fighting Maroons, 87-69.

The Tamaraws settled for third place this season, improving from their fifth place finish last year.
