NCA derby slated at Ynares Center
MANILA, Philippines - The National Cockers Alliance holds a six-stag derby on Sept. 24 with another banner field vying for top honors at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
Top breeders from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao are fielding in their aces in the event hosted by Peter Unabia, Mario Villamor, Luding and Eugene Martin, Arnold Mendoza and Jesus Sison.
Heading the roster are Allan Bantile, Eric Dela Rosa, Manny and Armand Santos, James Uy, Ruel Ricafort, Mario Villamor, Tommy Chua and Osang dela Cruz, Edwin Tose, Boy De Roca, Pipo Soliman, Ito Ynares, Luding Boongaling, Atong Ang, Ralph Daigo, Jun Soriano, Arnold Mendoza, Elan Nagaño;
Efren Canlas, Jun and Rudy Jingco, Jet Fernando, Bebot Roxas, Tonton Uy, Edgar Santos, Johnny Jalandoni, Bebot Uy, Larry Rubinos, Peter Unabia and Claude Bautista.
Meanwhile, Tonton Uy and the Ito Ynares-Boy Torres tandem scored five points apiece to share top honors in last week’s NCA derby sponsored by Sagupaan Complexor.
Efren Canlas, Osang Dela Cruz, Boy De Roca, Bebot Uy, Mario Villamor and Biboy Enriquez, Harold De Ramos, Eric Dela Rosa, Jesus Sison, Elan Nagaño and Edwin Tose/Ferdie Lim all wound up with four points each.
