MANILA, Philippines - The third leg of the Metropolitan Chess Club Amateurs Chess Tournament reels off at 10:30 a.m. today at the Walter Mart Sucat in Brgy. San Isidro, Parañaque.
Open to newcomers, beginners, unrated and rated players whose NCFP ratings are not over 1850, regardless of age or sex, the event shall apply the seven-round Swiss System in selecting the top 10 major winners and five best category performers.
At stake is P15,000 with the champion getting P4,000. Cash prizes are broken down to 10 places.
