Sports5 airs PBA, ‘NC,’ Clear football

MANILA, Philippines - Sports5 treats fans to a special Saturday as it airs a series of blockbuster sports events beginning with the NCAA men’s basketball match on AksyonTV featuring the league’s leading teams – San Beda and Letran.

The Lions-Knights duel is set at 6 tonight with the surprising Jose Rizal U Bombers clashing with Arellano Chiefs in the 4 p.m. opener at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

In other top-notch hardcourt action, the PBA’s crowd darling Barangay Ginebra San Miguel takes on the resurgent Meralco side with the former seeking to bounce back from their opening day loss to the Petron Blazers last Sunday.

Action starts at 5 p.m. at the Cuneta Astrodome with the match to be aired live on IBC 13.
