MANILA, Philippines – National University Bulldogs streaked to solo second spot after clipping the wings of the Adamson Falcons in an 80-48 rout Sunday in the UAAP Season 76 men’s basketball action at the Mall of Asia Arena.
NU clicked on both ends of the floor to score the merciless win that pushed its record to 6-3 win-loss card behind FEU’s 7-1 record.
The Bulldogs, who opened the game, 21-7, drew big games from their 1-2 punch.
Emmanuel Mbe paced the Bulldogs with a 21-point and 10-rebound effort while Bobby Ray Parks added 16 points, six boards and five assists.
The Falcons fell down deeper in the standings with their sixth loss in nine outings.
