Jet Ski invitational race on at Subic

MANILA, Philippines - Watersports action makes a big comeback as the Jet Sports Association of the Philippines stages the “SBMA Jet Ski Invitational Race 2013” today at the Waterfront Beach of the Subic Bay Freeport

The country’s No.1 rider Paul del Rosario leads the cast vying for the various titles at stake in this event organized by JSAP under the helm of new president Harley David and race director Joey Millionado with the support of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority.

Around 25 riders dispute the titles in the Novice 4-stroke Open, the Expert Open, Novice Ski Open, Expert Ski Open and the premier Expert 4-Stroke Runabout Unlimited.

Del Rosario aims to reassert his supremacy in the Expert Runabout Open Unlimited against female rider Jam Mangio, veteran Myk Mangio, Pong Lee, Philip Crisostomo and Excel Torres.

He’s also eyeing the Expert Ski Open crown against Butch Casido, Jam Mangio and equally talented female rider Abby Reyes.

Comebacking Beng Que will be gunning for the two-stroke Open crown against Philip Crisostomo, Bernard Villeza and Roniel Ocfemia while Mike Bautista seeks a big win over brothers Dani and Diet Daquigan, Sherwin Bugarin and Raymond Ronquillo.

The said race serves as a prelude to the “Phl vs Malaysia Jet Ski Challenge”, which JSAP plans to organize before the World Jet Ski Finals in Lake Havasu, Arizona in October.
