MANILA, Philippines - Rod Nazario’s In This Corner starts its series of specials tonight, with Jay Solmiano as its first featured fighter in the weekly boxing primetime show over PTV-4.

Previous bouts of the 26-year-old light-welterweight campaigner from Catanduanes will be shown in the 7-8 p.m. program presented by Ginebra San Miguel, San Miguel Beer, Purefoods, the PCSO and Petron.

Solmiano has a record 17-2-1, including 13 by KOs.

He is also the interim World Boxing Organization Asia-Pacific light-welterweight champion.
