PSA Forum tackles SEAG football issue
MANILA, Philippines - The non-inclusion of football in the Philippine delegation to the Southeast Asian Games in Myanmar and two upcoming sporting events highlight today’s discussion of the weekly Philippine Sportswriters Association Forum at Shakey’s Malate.
Azkals team manager and football patron Dan Palami, Malditas coach Ernie Nierras, and Philippine Football Federation secretary general Ed Gastanes will give their take on the issue of the sport being left out as part of the Phl contingent to the Myanmar Games during the session aired live over dzSR Sports Radio 918 and presented by Shakey’s and the Philippine Amusements and Gaming Corp.
Also to be tackled in the public sports program set at 10:30 a.m. are the Sinclair under-22 national finals in Laguna and the King of the Cage Philippines at the Mall of Asia Arena.
A special guest for the Sinclair basketball tournament is Laguna Gov. ER Ejercito, who will be accompanied by Darren Evangelista and Laguna sports official Albert Abarques, while representing the mixed martial arts side are King of the Cage Phl chairman Ray Young and MMA legend Erwin Tagle.
The forum will be the first under the term of new PSA president Lorenzo Lomibao of the Business Mirror, who enjoins all members to attend.
