Adamson legends showcase UAAP opener
MANILA, Philippines - Host Adamson University will put up a grand show to kick off this year’s UAAP season with videos and participation of the league’s legends from the host school to underline the season’s theme “Greatness Never Ends.â€
The keenly awaited opener will start at 12:30 p.m. at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City with former Adamson stars Hector Calma and Kenneth Duremdes leading the program, a tribute to athletes and individuals who have contributed to the UAAP’s success and stability through the years.
The theme is also meant to inspire current athletes to continue pursuing excellence and success not only in sports but in life as well.
Spicing up the event is a “Hunger Gamesâ€-pegged production number with colorful performances by dancers from Adamson and other member-schools.
