Top contenders go all out in finale of Phl drag racing

MANILA, Philippines - Top contenders brace for what could be the most unpredictable championship round of the 2013 Petronas Philippine Drag Racing Championship Northern Series this Saturday at the Clark International Speedway.

The outcome depends on how the top five ace drivers – defending champion Jonathan Tiu, brothers Teofilo Edwin and Edison Cayco of H3 Motorsports, Rommel Dural of JCT-Blanche Racing, Arvin Jay Millet of TEMZ and former champion Martin Manalo – tackle the complicated scenario for the Overall Northern Series plum of this event sanctioned by the Automobile Association Philippines (AAP) and sponsored by Petronas, Yokohama, GT Radials, M&H Tires and media partners Racing Beat at Wave 89.1 and Inside Motoring @DZRJ 810khz.

Dural is at the solo front seat of the Northern Series title race with 25 points in the premier M&H Pro class which is the main basis in determining the champion.
